Karl Rove Finally Resigns
Category: Current Events, PoliticsI read this morning on Drudge where Karl Rove has resigned his powerful and important position on the President’s staff effective August 31. This alleged horrible and despicable man has topped the list of supposed villainous public servants such as John Ashcroft, Donald Rumsfeld, Alberto Gonzalez, Condi Rice, and many others who’ve all been ruthlessly vilified by the Democrats.
I’ve always been at a loss why there have been so many shady characters and ne’er-do-wells appointed by George Bush since he won the much debated Presidential Election of 2000. Why so many dubious and distrustful characters would sacrifice their private lives, fortunes, and careers in lieu of public service puzzles me.
Will someone please explain to me why Karl Rove is the evil and dreadful man the Democrats have made him out to be? I need proof and want to know before I form an opinion.

It is simply a reflection on the continued moral decline of our society. I didn’t care for Bill Clinton, but he was still my president and I tried to speak of him with respect. We hear about the “moral compass” but I’m afraid that the compass is placed too close to the “media magnet” and that we have lost direction. I can’t give any good reason that Karl should have been such a target by anyone. There were plenty of allegations, but no substantive facts. Journalism has taken on a “supermarket tabloid” character and I’m afraid the battle is lost.
I like Karl and admire his fortitude through all of this…. and, he’s not a bad rapper either.
