Diversity. This popular word we never heard much of was once found mostly in the Dictionary. According to good old Webster, diversity is defined as follows:

[di·ver·si·ty] – 1. the state or fact of being diverse; difference; unlikeness. 2. variety; multiformity. 3.) a point of difference.

In today’s complicated world of enforced mandates and political correctness, we are now bombarded with this once obscure word. We hear the ‘D-word’ from our disingenuous politicians, the biased media, and we are fed a daily overdose of the word from those calling themselves “Progressives.” I’m also told that most large corporations now mandate all mid-level managers attend diversity training classes led by superficial circuit seminar experts with whom many of us have been lulled to sleep by.

The insincerity of all this diversity prattle speaks for itself. To paraphrase a recent statement I read in a column written by columnist David Limbaugh:

While the unspeakable sin of not being diverse is judging, prejudging or treating people differently on the basis of ethnicity, race, religion, color of skin, sex, or sexual preference; those most noticeably exercised about the sin are often its most habitual practitioners. In most cases, it appears those people who are forever stirring the steaming pot of diversity really aren’t that concerned about diversity in the first place. Their veiled but obvious agenda most always is their unbridled pursuit of political control and empowerment – ultimately trampling and exploiting those very people they’re masquerading as being compassionate for.

These champions of huckster-ism are the usual suspect race hustlers who spend every moment enriching them selves financially with no regard to the social destruction they leave behind in their wakes. Next we have the ever menacing organizations such as the ACLU, CAIR, NOW, LGMT, NARAL (please forgive me if I’ve left anyone out). These sinister group’s main goals are the outright destruction of our Constitution and our Judeo-Christian way of life. Scary but true. Taking up the rear and leading the charge in their path of destruction are the left-leaning liberal politicians, their party leaders, and their mainstream media enablers I mentioned above. All of whom shamelessly stroke their preferred aggrieved and oppressed groups by playing on their fears and differences with the specific intent of further dividing us as a nation.

Not until genuine sincerity and understanding takes lead from these manipulative sorts will we legitimately be estranged from other people’s differences. We must take it upon ourselves to promote diversity and brotherhood in a genuine and heartfelt manner without legislative mandates and fear of a special interest groups’ retribution.

Someone please tell me…what in the world has happened to us all? Just look at what we’ve become.
