Hypocrisy Maybe?
Category: Democrats, Hypocrisy, Liberalism, Politics, ReligionIt amazes me how the Liberal Democratic candidates; those who advance abortion, promote promiscuity, support the gay lifestyle, promote same sex marriages, mingle with the immoral Hollywood crowd, and flaunt their Libertine lifestyle, always turn to the Lord during election season. Why do you suppose that is? Although I have an opposing view of all of the above, it is their right as Americans to hold dear to them those values.
Apparently Obama invoked the Bible this Sunday down in New Orleans. Obama’s not alone with his pretense by any means. All the Liberal Democrats do it during the election cycles…and I might add…with such grand sanctimony and righteousness that it’s disgraceful. Obviously they don’t want the voters to know who they are and what they stand for. It’s as obvious as the nose on your face.

Tell me, are Ronald Reagan and Senator Thompson part of the immoral Hollywood crowd, last time I looked they were republicans, and how nice for you that in your sanctimonous self absorbed way you take propriotership of the Lord. Is that what Jesus would do or are you one of those special folks like Bush that hear voices from above. It must be wonderful for you to be a chosen one
When Obama speaks about religion, he is following the teachings of his church, the ultra-liberal United Church of Christ. They are on record as supporting abortion and being open to homosexual marriage, and it is not necessary to believe in the Deity of Christ to be in good standing in that denomination. (I was raised in that denomination before I became a Christian.)
What is interesting is that if you check the website of Obama’s home congregation, http://www.tucc.org/about.htm, you will find a very Afro-centric focus. If a predominantly white church had a similar mission statement, but focused on whites instead of Africans, they would surely be attacked as racist.
Joe,
Fair question regarding the late Ronald Reagan and Senator Thompson. Your comment is correct about them both being Republicans, the party of life. However, neither were part or parcel of the immoral Hollywood crowd. Maybe I should have clarified my description of the Hollywood crowd to read the immoral, left-leaning Hollywood crowd. For me to comment on the balance of your comment would be futile.
Ray,
Thank you for your informative comment regarding Obama’s ultra-liberal church. I found it to be very informative.
It’s funny, here we are bashing Obama, and a Help Elect Barak Obama ad is on the right side of your webpage.
Not funny at all Ray. It’s like running in sand.
