Get A Blanket…Forget The Fireplace

I just read a piece where the city of San Francisco has declared war on fireplaces. I can think of several more vital ills this modern day city of Sodom and Gomorrah should be declaring war on but I won’t go there.

Apparently the Bay Area Air Quality Management District will be holding public hearings to determine whether or not fireplaces will be allowed in new home construction. Or, if you already own a home with a fireplace in it, whether or not you will be legally permitted to use it. What a bunch of bunk!

It seems that “government studies” show that 33% of all “particulate matter” in the air comes from fireplaces. So between automobiles, coal fired energy plants, industry and all other contributors of “particular matter,” 33% of that comes from fireplaces?? Honest Injun…can you believe it? I can’t make this stuff up.

I would think one California brush fire would put more “particulate matter” into the air in ten seconds than all of the fireplaces in San Francisco do in one year, yet alone a decade. How come these global warming con artists don’t address the causes of these brush fires and leave us alone?

I’m sorry but I just can’t buy into this global warming con. It’s all about control. The more we buy into this global warming scam, the easier we are to control … and the bigger the smile on the politician’s faces because we’re falling prey to their sting.

the same s**t, and i don´t mean particles, is in the air here in Germany.

already there is talk of requiring particle filters, at the cost of $1500.00 to be built into the chimneys and a tax on wood burners.

oh well, if it works like the fiasco with the gfilters for the diesel engines it´ll be a riot

Don’t you just love how all of these expert politicians who know nothing about anything tell us how we should live our lives?

What say you?
