The Americans With No Abilities Act
Category: Current Events, Hillary, Humor, Labor, Liberalism, SatireYesterday I went to Sears to have a new battery installed in my wife’s car. What a painful experience that was watching the service tech change out that battery. It was if time had stood still. This guy didn’t even know how to check me out because I was paying with a Sears gift card combined with a credit card. This multi-tattooed and body pierced service tech was dumber than a box of rocks and I can’t believe Sears even hired him.
Is it my imagination or are the workers in this country getting dumber? Everywhere I go, every store I shop in, and every customer service representative I speak to sends my blood pressure rising. I’ve almost completely stopped going to the US Post Office because that experience is enough to make a calm guy like me “go postal.” Some Home Depot employees even make me want to drive home and stick my head in the oven. They think going to work is a social event rather than a place to perform a task in return for a paycheck.
The work ethic in this country is seemingly getting more dismal with each passing day. I sometimes wonder if the lackadaisical attitude of so many workers is a by-product of our public school system or a sum total of what they hear and read in the media. It just seems there is no pride in one’s work anymore and they think they are owed a paycheck just for showing up.
It just so happened a friend of mine pointed out a new law congress supposedly passed called The American’s With No Abilities Act. It sounded doubtful to me but with all of these campaign promises being thrown around by Hillary and the other nanny state loving candidates I Google’d it to check on it’s authenticity. According to Snopes it isn’t so but you’ll have a hard time convincing me otherwise. Check out the link below and you decide.
