I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and celebrated the birth of Jesus with family and friends. As for me, we attended a beautiful Christmas Eve Mass in celebration of Christ’s birthday and left feeling the true spirit of Christmas. The Christmas season is a wonderful time of the year and I look forward to next years celebration. The good Lord willing.

I heard an interesting commentary by a radio host named Mark Levin while we were driving on Interstate 70 in Maryland over the Christmas holiday. The XM channel 124 radio host read his commentary while beautiful Christmas music was playing softly in the background. I will do my best to jog my fading memory and will share it with everyone the best I can. I found it to be very thought provoking and maybe some of my readers will too. Here goes and I apologize for no music so just try to imagine Oh Christmas Time is playing in the background.

The Christmas lights are out, the trees are decorated, but with special light bulbs and if not, you’ll get arrested then hauled off to jail. What about your fresh cut Christmas tree? Chop one down and you’ll be taxed for it in future because your global foot print will not be tolerated. Your gifts will have to be wrapped in special paper that is recyclable, and if not you will be arrested…that’s right…its true. And by the way, Federal Express and other overnight services, gone! We can’t have them speeding around and spewing carbon dioxide in the air can we? The government won’t allow it.

As a matter of fact, the very size of your home will be limited too. We’ll have to go back to post WW II Levittown sized homes of 1200 square foot per family and if you have a family that requires a larger home…well, you won’t be allowed to because there will be laws against that too. Who knows what that means? Your government most likely will tax you for having too many children or they just might take your surplus children from you and put them up for adoption…who knows?

Yes, this is the future of America, Liberal style. Oh, and Christmas? The very name will be outlawed, under the first amendment of course. The government will mandate separation of church and state and separation of God and man.

Welcome to Amerika with a K. Just keep working hard. Working in the rice fields earning as much as you can so the government can take 90%. Because anyone who earns above a government mandated minimum wage…well…they’re rich and we can’t have rich can we? Remember we want equality. Equality, yes this is what your government wants for you. But don’t worry; we’ll all have government mandated health care. When you go to the post office, you can wait in line to get a stamp and a Kidney operation too.

That’s exactly right. I’m painting the picture. Do you like it? If you don’t like it you had better act now because this is what’s in store for your grandchildren if you let the liberals in this country take control.
