Marching Over The Cliff
Category: Conservatism, Elections, Politics, RepublicansRobert McFarlane wrote an interesting commentary in today’s WSJ well worth reading. Several highly regarded and prominent Conservative talk radio personalities appear to be going “over the cliff” regarding the possibility of John McCain becoming our next President. I empathize with them, however, these much listened to personalities along with their faithful listeners need to step back, take a deep breath, then coalesce as a determined party to defeat Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama in the general election. There are too many challenges and just too much at stake for America should either one of these extreme leftist liberals become our next President. Here’s an excerpt from Mr. McFarlane’s Commentary.

Finally, there is the cost of their extremist rhetoric to the Republican Party. As President Reagan once told me, “Going over the cliff, flags flying, is still going over the cliff.”
