Three news items related to the global warming hoax. We all had better prepare ourselves to dig deeper into our pockets to pay for all of this foolishness. We are being taken to the cleaners by these people.

Item No. 1:
Crude oil is now perched at $100.00 a barrel with predictions of $4.00 per gallon prices at the pump. Yesterday, Nancy Pelosi scheduled and the House passed a vote to repeal existing tax breaks which will impose additional tax burden on America’s oil companies to approximately $18 billion. This tax increase, of course, will be passed on to you and I, the consumer. Some of the money, say Democrats, would be used to invest in “alternative energy sources.” Why can’t Congress just let the oil company’s drill for domestic oil and build more refineries? It would put an end to our dependence on foreign oil. Read more about it here.

Item No. 2:
The Democrat-Party-inspired move to replace oil usage by producing more ethanol and forcing the auto industry to build automobiles which burn ethanol has already led to soaring food prices — which you and I are paying every day. It seems a new safety concern has now emerged regarding ethanol laden tankers on American highways. It has been determined that fire departments don’t have the special foam that is required to put out the ethanol fires — which are more intense than gasoline fires. The ethanol foam costs about 30 percent more than the foam used to put out gas fires, so cash-strapped communities are left holding the bag which means higher taxes for you and I. The fire issue is bad enough…but how about those groceries prices? Read more about it here.

Item No. 3:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, recently declared that coal used to generate electricity is, “ruining the world.” Henry Waxman, a California Democrat, supports a ban on new coal-fired power plants. It appears there is a hidden agenda attached to their reasoning at the expense of the taxpayer. This foolish talk could very well be an underhanded scheme to garner Big Oil donations to the Democrat Party for protection money. Why can’t Congress just use common sense and give the go ahead to build more nuclear and coal fired power plants? Read more about it here.
