The now famous JFK line following the botched Bay of Pigs invasion that Victory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan is once again ringing true. The above then and now video clip, featuring Pennsylvania Congressman Paul Kanjorski (D), is a blatant example of scheming political manipulation which has no shame.

As we enter the presidential general election season, it appears the party of defeat is advancing the groundwork to seize full credit for our success in Iraq. Their latest claim is they pressured Bush into the surge, which is “somewhat working,” so therefore they deserve credit for any success it has or will achieve. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) has even gone so far to give credit to Iran for our military success in Iraq. It is beyond belief that a person of her status would side with a country who wants to destroy us and who is responsible for the majority of our military casualties. These people have no boundaries let alone a conscience.

Apparently the blame America first Democrat politicians have stuck their partisan fingers in the wind and have come to realize defeatism is a losing campaign issue in the upcoming November Presidential election. They have some explaining to do, that’s for sure.
