Interesting excerpt from The Hill.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday Shut the door on expanding oil and gas drilling beyond areas that have already been approved for energy exploration, drawing a clear distinction form her counterparts in charge of the Senate.

“This call for drilling in areas that are protected is a hoax, it’s an absolute hoax on the part of the Republicans and this administration” Pelosi said at her weekly press conference. “It’s a decoy to punt your attention away form the fact that their policies have produced $4-a-gallon gasoline.”

This statement from the Madam Speaker is simply incredible. This coming from an elitist wealthy wife - of an extremely wealthy San Francisco businessman - she alone has unilaterally decided that we “the people,” should all continue to suffer with the high cost of gasoline because she says we should. Apparently it’s more important for Pelosi to represent the big environmental Marxist groups and their fascist agenda than it is to represent us, the American people. Furthermore, just what Republican policies is Ms. Pelosi referring to when she lays blame on the Republicans for $4-a-gallon gasoline? Could it be the Republican policy of wanting to drill for more oil and build more refineries? This woman is insane.

It’s time we give credit where credit is due and put a name and a face to the high cost of gasoline in this country. The next time you go to the gas station to fill-er- up, and stand there in amazement as you watch the flow meter racking up those dollar amounts faster than you can say “hole-lee-shita.” Think of Nancy Pelosi, specifically, Democrat from San Francisco. She and she alone, in her leadership capacity, is responsible for the outrageous gas prices we must pay in this country with upwardly no end in sight.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a shining example of why Congress has a mere 9% approval rating. She is so isolated and self-absorbed in her world of politics, self-ego, and corruption, she can’t get beyond her own self. She can’t begin to comprehend the damage she is doing to our country while she basks in the limelight of her moonbat liberal politics.
