Meet America’s New Secretary Of State
Category: America Gone Mad, Exposing The Left, Liberalism, MoonbatteryHillary Clinton is said to be scheduled to accept President-Elect Obama’s appointment as Secretary of State today. This is frightening to have a woman such as her directly involved in America’s foreign affairs. Hillary is an embarrassment, an anti-war populist, and considers America the problem, not the cure for all that is wrong with the world today. Unlike most of President-Elect Obama’s recent cabinet appointments, HRC was not a wise choice and somehow I can’t help but think it will come back to haunt him.
With a victory in Iraq clearly in sight, I predict the very same far left liberals of the Democrat Party, who’ve sabotaged the entire war effort from the start, will make every attempt to take credit for the victory at hand. As a matter of fact, the New York Times has already advanced the claim. With the Marines now withdrawing from Fallujah and a time table set to bring our troops home – when will the media ask Hillary if these withdrawals are the result of a Victory in Iraq or the defeat she and her fellow traitors crowed so much about? The Netroots once again are confirming they have no shame, let alone a credible conscience.
Here’s an excerpt from a recent op-ed in the NYT written by uber-lefty Tom Friedman.
That is the Iraq that Obama is inheriting. It is an Iraq where we have to begin drawing down our troops — because the occupation has gone on too long and because we have now committed to do so by treaty — but it is also an Iraq that has the potential to eventually tilt the Arab-Muslim world in a different direction.
I’m sure that Obama, whatever he said during the campaign, will play this smart. He has to avoid giving Iraqi leaders the feeling that Bush did — that he’ll wait forever for them to sort out their politics — while also not suggesting that he is leaving tomorrow, so they all start stockpiling weapons.
If he can pull this off, and help that decent Iraq take root, Obama and the Democrats could not only end the Iraq war but salvage something positive from it. Nothing would do more to enhance the Democratic Party’s national security credentials than that.
As The Confederate Yankee puts it: “House and Senate Democrats, including President Elect Barack Obama, did everything in their power to lose the Iraq War, and deserve no credit for any success.”

After Obama clearly won the Democratic primary, the polls were showing a very strong fallout of Hillary voters who were moving to McKean. That’s all the networks were talking about for quite a while. Then… the Obama Clinton meeting took place and all of sudden we saw Hillary enthsuiastically stumping for Barack. Bill was out there too, although not quite as enthusiastic, he hit the streets for Obama. This deal for Secretary of State was made long before today. I can’t help but believe this was an “I’ll scratch your back” moment. Watch soon for a Bill Clinton announcement. How’s that for “change you can believe in” ?
