It is more likely to be a viewpoint adopted so that one can have sex with whomever one wants to, without feeling any guilt. If you are on the other side, it can sound pretty scary. But along with the announcement of judgement and the overthrow of the old godless order, comes a call to repent and make peace with God, who has sent his Son to be with us.
