American Spectator contributor and Conservative intellectual George Neumayer, isn’t buying in to what he describes as “The bipartisan cooing over Barack Obama’s selection of Hillary Clinton as his Secretary of State…” Mr. Neumayer claims “She hasn’t become more conservative; Republicans have become more complacent – -and PC.” Bravo I say…never have truer words been spoken. To the victor goes the spoils and several of the recent cabinet appointments made by President-elect Barack Obama are frightening to say the least. Never-the-less, Obama won the election and his cabinet selections come with his stunning victory…good or bad as they may be. Because of this, everyone should say a heartfelt prayer for our country’s survival because Liberal “niceness” isn’t going to do away with the evil we face in this world today.
Mr. Neumayer has written an excellent essay titled Hillary’s Global Village regarding Hillary’s appointment and his observations regarding the lies being presented to the American people by the lefty media and the Obama gang about her appointment. Here’s an excerpt from Mr. Neumayer’s excellent essay.
Sphere: Related ContentYes, desperately needing to contrast herself with Obama, she faked up some populist concerns during the campaign, but the Hillary Clinton of the not-so-distant past oozed contempt for Americans who worried about the erosion of American traditions and the country’s sovereignty under corrupting internationalist influence.
The Clinton administration’s State Department might as well have been an annex of the UN. For example, Hillary’s friend Timothy Wirth — with what Newsweek described as his “silver bowl of condoms” in the foyer of his State Department office — endeavored to reassure the international community that America would one day join the enlightened nations of the world and endorse all of the UN’s population control plans. The Clinton State Department was constantly signaling to “the world” its embarrassment at America’s values.
Hillary Clinton’s State Department is more likely to let the world change America than America change the world. Her tendency has always been to support internationalizing practices that she feels the American people are too retrograde to accept on their own.
