Obama Reads “Corpsman” As “Corpse-Man”
Category: Chairman ZeroCommander-in-Chief Comrade Obama can’t even pronounce “corpsman” correctly. He thinks they’re “corpse-man.” What a maroon this elitist Harvard grad is. Obama is playing Commander-in-Chief every bit as badly as he plays President of the United States. The guy is an embarrassment to anyone who has ever worn the uniform.
Hard to believe a Harvard intellectual and scholar can’t pronounce corpsman correctly. This “Affirmative Action President – who rode into office despite his radical background and lack of qualifications on a wave of political correctness” – is a shining example of what government created politically correct mandates have done to dumb down education in our country. Affirmative action is nothing more than a means of apportioning rewards, not on merit, but on other criteria such as gender, sexual preference, religion, or race. It’s kind of like spreading the wealth around to those not willing to work for it.
Can you imagine how the lefty statist media would have pounced if GWB would have called a Navy Corpsman a “Corpse-man?” This from Casey Fiano’s Smokin Hot Commentary:
Sphere: Related ContentWhen Bush mispronounced nuclear, the left went bananas. It became someone he was bashed for non-stop. Obama’s misspoken plenty of times, but I don’t think I’ve ever been so offended — and I’m not even in the military.
Remember, this is a man who graduated from Harvard and is a Constitutional scholar. But he can’t figure out how to pronounce corpsman? Is he going to be calling it the Marine Corpse next? This is a huge insult to the military. Huge. Does he really need the teleprompter to tell him how to pronounce corpsman?
The man is pathetic.

Right. I love how up in arms the neocons are about this unfortunate gaffe. Certainly, it was dumb of Obama to say “corpse-man” and it should be inexcusable for a President to mispronounce that kind of word.
However, it is pretty laughable to suggest that Obama is “pathetic” or “stupid” or, as you put it, a “maroon.” (It’s MORON, moron). Obama is FAR brighter, FAR more intelligent, and FAR more articulate than GWB, Dan Quayle or either of the two idiots that the Republicans put up for election last time around (i.e., McCain and Palin). By the way, I like a lot of things about McCain and think he’s plenty smart….but he’s still not nearly as smart as Barack Obama. Sarah Palin….oh I don’t think I need to say anything else about that dumb-dumb.
There are BOOKS filled to the brim with Bushisms. Ridiculous misstatements on a daily basis. Words that he simply made up. When GWB spoke, you could always see the wheels spinning….as in, “what the hell am I gonna say next?” My personal favorite is “OB/GYNs practicing their love for women all over the country,” but there are so so many. The “corpse-man” issue does not reflect well on Obama, but I think he’s entitled to a gaffe or two.
No my kool drinking lefty friend…it is in fact a maroon you moron. I’ve added a link to clarify it for people such as yourself.
Steve,
Intelligence does not necessarily equate with leadership, morality or common sense… all of which find Obama sorely lacking. I can find countless examples of “intelligent” people who have been responsible for some very “dumb” things.
It is interesting that you have resurrected Dan Quayle to support your argument. Dan was and is a very intelligent man. The media exacerbated his slips of tongue. Obama should be prepared for this kind of scrutiny… it’s payback time. I suspect his error was born in the fact that he has to “read” everything. I don’t think that a good reader or great orater necessarily equates to an intelligent man. Maybe they should prepare his teleprompter phonetically.
When people like you attempt to disparage the President, particularly during a time of war, it shows your true colors regarding patriotism.
When you try to disparage him by claiming that he is ignorant, it goes beyond any logical reasoning. President Obama is extraordinarily intelligent.
This is coming from a lifelong Republican who would prefer to see the country succeed than have our President fail. And in my opinion, there is no one better to lead the nation right now.
It must be lousy to live in a world of hate and fear. I feel sorry for you.
Thanks.
Oh I see. This is one of those blogs where ‘comments await moderation.”

I doubt it.
